LEARNING OBJECTIVES FOR EACH HOLIDAY COURSE.

• New students will learn to touch-type without looking at the keyboard, using all their fingers correctly. This makes touch-typing  a natural way of working.
  

• Intermediate students will continue to improve their skills by correcting any bad habits and improve accuracy and speed.
  
  

• Some students will work on their speed using correct fingering.
  
  

• Working Memory booster techniques will be used to help students improve recall and memorising correct fingering. There will be a variety of these away from the keyboard.
  
  

• Focus and self-esteem are gently encouraged through meaningful praise.
  
  

• Homework:  Online use of the course for practice purposes for two weeks.
  
  

• Past eligible students have been able to use touch-typing in exams and have improved their pass rate considerably.
